We were recently contacted by Denis Giroux of La Giroux-ette in Quebec, Canada. He sent us some photos (which can be seen below) of two fantastic projects he had completed using Vector Art 3D Models. The first was an Armoire using our Green Man model. The really interesting and original feature is the placement of the Green Man model and how the doors interlock with it which you can see in the detail imagees. The Green Man was carved from Red Oak. The second project was a billiard table carved from Black Walnut that Denis constructed entirely himself. Mike Leslie is an Auto- bodyshop owner and ASE certified master collision repair/refinishing technician from Sundance, Wyoming. He has been hand-carving on and off for the last 17 years. In July we exhibited at the AWFS Fair 2009 in Las Vegas, myself and Todd Bailey (one of our artists) headed down a couple of days early to build a simple display and set up the samples. Our booth was adjacent to the booth’s of our friends from both Vectric and ShopBot.
