Many customers are not aware that we offer a free piece of software which allows our customers to preview any of our models in 3D before purchase. The Vector Art 3D Viewer can be downloaded from this page: Free 3D Viewer Page Each model is available for download in a special V3V format which you can open in this software. The files can be downloaded by clicking on the button below an individual model image which says “Free 3D Preview”. Once downloaded you can load it into the Viewer software, rotate it around in 3D, try different shading colors and even save images to send to customers for approval. This ensures that you can see the quality and detail of a model before you buy and even use it as a tool to show a customer the models.

 

We are still occasionally getting visitors to the site looking for the PTN file format which is used with the CarveWright/CompuCarve machines. Our models are available in this format but only from the CarveWright Pattern Depot – you can use the Image number or our file name in the search tool to find our models on the CW Pattern website.
