Downloading your Vector Art 3D Order

In order to minimize any problems you may have downloading files from us this page will guide you through some items to check. Once you have run through the check list there is a Free Download test at the bottom of the page which will allow you to test your PC setup to ensure that it will work with our delivery system.

Step 1:

Our download process requires you to have Adobe Flash installed on your computer. Please ensure that you have the latest version by visiting this webpage: http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer.

NB. The latest version is very important to ensure compatibility with your Browser and Operating System.

Step 2:

Please ensure that you are using the most recent version of Internet Browser.

Firefox: http://www.getfirefox.com/

Opera: http://www.opera.com/download/

Safari: http://www.apple.com/safari/download/

Chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome

If you do experience browser problems with Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari or Chrome then we would recommend trying Firefox (see link above - free download).

Step 3:

Disable any download accelerators while downloading the file/s. (ie; GetRight, FlashGet, etc)

Step 4:

If you plan to download your files as a ZIP file then you will need to use a free unzip tool:

Windows users: We recommend WinZip.
Mac OS users: We recommend StuffIt Expander.

(Windows XP/Vista users: Support for .ZIP files is built-in to your operating system.)

Step 5:

When you are given the option to save the file onto your PC you need to make sure you DO NOT change the filename. This will avoid accidentally removing the correct file extension from the file. You can rename it once it is downloaded and/or unzipped.

Step 6:

If the download appears to have been successful but you then cannot find the file in the folder you specified as the saving location then you may need to alter the settings on your web browser or virus software to allow downloads.

Self-Test for VectorArt3D File Use

Please use this self-test if you have not succesfully recently ordered and downloaded files from Vector Art 3D.

The free practice and information will tell you if your computer setup (browser version and security software settings) will work with our download engine.

Questions to answer:

Did the file download correctly (is it the correct file-size on my PC)?
Was I able to specify the file location when saving or if this is a default setting in my browser was I able to find the file on my PC once it was downloaded?
Could I load the files into my chosen software (see note below on supported software)?
